Tarver To Participate in Tedx Event

NASHVILLE-- Fisk University Gymdog head coach Corrinne Tarver has been invited to be a speaker at TEDx Nashville on November 2, 2023. Tarver, the first HBCU head coach of a gymnastics team, will join a long line of famous Nashvillians sharing ideas worth spreading. 

"I am excited about this opportunity," said Tarver. "TEDx believes in the power of ideas that can change attitudes, ideas, and ultimately the world. I am appreciative that they thought enough of me and what we are doing at Fisk to have me on." 

According to their website, TED began in 1984 as a conference where technology, entertainment, and design converge. Its mission is to discover and spread ideas that spark imagination, embrace possibility, and catalyze impact.
