Golf Heads to Georgia for Savannah State Invitational

SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Fisk University Golf Teams are gearing up for an exciting start to the week as they head to Savannah, Georgia, to participate in the Savannah State Tiger Spring Invitational. The event is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday and will be held at the Crosswinds Golf Club, offering a competitive environment for both teams to showcase their talents over two days.

Women's Team Preview

This tournament marks the first appearance of the women's team this spring. The roster includes  returning players, such as junior Savannah Scott and sophomores Karyle Drake and Teniya Williams, who bring valuable experience and leadership to the lineup. Additionally, junior Kennedi Wagner will make her debut for the team at this event. Notably, both Wagner and Williams are coming off their basketball season, adding a dynamic edge to the team's presence.

The men's team will be stepping onto the course for the second time this spring season. Junior Donovan Starks is set to make his 2026 season debut, contributing his skills and determination to the team's efforts.
