Bio

Lyndsi Callier, an Assistant Coach for Women’s Gymnastics, is a proud graduate of Fisk University whose journey with the Fisk Gymnastics program reflects dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to her team. Known around campus as “Lil Lyn”, Callier was a member of the first HBCU gymnastics team from 2022 to 2025 and earned the Fisk Award multiple times in recognition of her character, work ethic, and impact on the program.

After graduating a year early, Callier made the decision to return for one final season, driven by her desire to support her teammates and contribute to the continued growth of the program. Although injuries limited much of her competitive career, Callier never hesitated to remain actively involved with the team, consistently stepping into leadership and mentorship roles. Her presence extended beyond competition, as she focused on team unity, supporting athlete development, and maintaining a positive team culture. Her perseverance through adversity has become one of the defining aspects of her athletic experience.

Callier currently attends Tennessee State University, where she is pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. She hopes to combine her background in athletics with her passion for public health, particularly in the areas of injury prevention, athlete health, and data-driven research. For Callier, giving back to the programs and institutions that shaped her is a central motivation, and she strives to serve as a testament to future athletes through leadership, service, and continued involvement in sport.
