Bio

Jessica Enderle is entering her 21st year of coaching, bringing a wealth of experience across the club, high school, and collegiate levels. She is currently in her ninth season at Fisk University, where she has served as Head Women’s Volleyball Coach since 2018 after two seasons as an assistant coach. Under her leadership, the Lady Bulldogs have flourished both on and off the court, earning national recognition, academic honors, and championship-level performances.

Her coaching journey began in club volleyball, where she has spent more than 20 years on the sidelines with programs including Club West Volleyball (CA & TN), Impact VBC (TN), and Alliance VBC (TN). At the high school level, Enderle served as Head Coach at Page High School for four seasons, leading the program to back-to-back TSSAA State Championships.

Since arriving at Fisk, Enderle has elevated the program to new heights. The Lady Bulldogs have collected conference, regional, and national honors under her direction, including the program’s first AVCA All-Americans, multiple Academic Scholar-Team Awards, and consistent postseason success. Enderle herself has been recognized with some of the sport’s highest honors, including 2022 GCAC Coach of the Year, 2022 and 2024 AVCA Southeast Region Coach of the Year, and 2024 HBCUAC Coach of the Year.

The last two seasons have showcased the program’s growth. In 2023–24, Fisk posted a 20+ win season, finished as GCAC Conference Tournament Runner-Up, and celebrated honors such as AVCA All-Region Freshman of the Year (Nebthet Re), GCAC Freshman of the Year, GCAC Setter of the Year, and GCAC Defender of the Year. In 2024–25, the Lady Bulldogs built on that momentum with an NAIA Scholar-Team Award, 16 athletes on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, and multiple HBCUAC Player of the Year awards led by standout Reagan Jones, who was also named an NAIA Third-Team All-American.

Enderle’s resume also includes success on the club and national stages, with championship finishes at qualifiers such as the Show Me and MEQ tournaments. She has been recognized as the 2010 TSWA Coach of the Year and collected multiple undefeated district, regional, and substate titles while at Page High School. Beyond coaching, she has served in leadership roles as Assistant Director at Impact VBC and Alliance VBC, and Director at Club West Volleyball TN.

A graduate of Lipscomb University with a B.S. in Psychology, Enderle was a four-year player for the Lady Bisons.
