Prior to Fisk: Hailing from Rochester, NY, Naimah was homeschooled and has a unique academic journey...Previously attended the University of Bridgeport (2020) and SUNY College at Brockport (2021-2022), where she made significant contributions to the gymnastics team.

Personal: Born on 9/25/2002...Daughter of Jason & Kadara Muhammad…Brothers, Ayinde & Isaiah; Sisters: Nzinga, Imani, Azizah Muhammad…the first HBCU gymnast to ever compete, the first gymnast to compete in tights in the NCAA (for religious beliefs), Fisk Award Recipient… Favorite song? Any song from Glorilla & TiaCorine…I have written several scripts and short stories and made a short documentary that was submitted to a film festival.

Why Fisk? I chose Fisk because I always wanted to attend an HBCU but didn't want to give up gymnastics. Fisk's introduction of the gymnastics team allowed me to do what I love while attending a college where I can feel like my most authentic self.
